One of the most commonly performed surgeries are joint replacement surgeries. There are more than 1 million joint replacement surgeries annually in America alone. Knee replacements are the most common, followed by hip. The goal of a joint replacement is to help the joint work better to improve walking and other movements while reducing pain. While joint replacement surgeries definitely improve mobility in the long term, the weeks/months following a procedure can be tedious and may present some unique problems. Following these procedures, certain bodily motions are restricted and difficult to achieve. Luckily, products have been created that are designed to make post-procedure life much easier.
