A group of these items have all been placed into one kit that can aid in you or a loved ones surgery recovery. Items that come in the kit include a reacher, a sock-aid, a shoehorn, a bath sponge, and a dressing stick. A brief explanation of each item follows:

 

Reacher

26 inch aluminum reacher with a magnetic tip, used to extend reach and promote independence

 

Sock-Aid

Sock-Aid’s assist in opening the sock whole and positions it so that it may easily glide over the foot without causing the user to bend, twist, or reach too far towards their feet.

 

Shoehorn

Shoehorns can be very beneficial, especially in the final stages of putting your foot in a shoe. It consists of a handle to grip, and an elongated thin portion that is meant to help glide your foot into the shoe for a snug fit.

 

Bath sponge

Limited mobility may make it hard to reach certain areas of the body while bathing. Bath sponge’s feature a sponge at the end of an elongated stick to help clean hard to reach areas.

 

Dressing Stick

Designed to reduce bending, twisting, or reaching while dressing. Hook at end of dressing stick helps users pull fabric, belt loops, shoe strings, etc.
