Showering is perhaps the most important part of our bodily cleaning routine. Showering can make us feel refreshed and energized… but they can also make some of us feel nervous or unsteady. Why is this? Roughly 370 people in America are injured in their bathroom every single day. The large majority of bathroom injuries have to do with slipping and falling while entering, using, or leaving the shower. Risks are known be even higher for an aging or disabled population. Reasons to seek shower equipment can include expending too much energy getting in or out of shower, general balance issues, losing balance while closing eyes and standing, needing assistance transferring into/out of shower, etc.
